Sweet and Tangy Pork

3 Large Pork Steaks
Salt + Pepper
2 Medium Onions (chopped)
2 Celery Stalks (chopped)
1 Green Pepper (sliced)
2 Cans (14-1/2 oz.) Stewed Tomatoes
1/2 C Ketchup
1 T Cider Vinegar
2 T Brown Sugar
2 T Worcestershire
1 T Lemon Juice
2 Beef Bouillon Cubes
1 Can Corn (drained)
1 Cup Instant Rice

Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper. Place in crock pot. Add the onions, celery, green pepper and tomatoes. Combine ketchup, vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire, lemon juice and bouillon. Pour over all. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours. Add corn and rice. Cook 1 more hour.

Pork Chops and Apples

Put a layer of sliced apple in bottom of crock,add water just to cover. Add a layer of pork chops dotted with butter. Then repeat with apples & chops. Sprinkle top with Teriyaki sauce and if you like add some herbs (thyme or sage) and salt and pepper to taste.

Crockpot Ham and Potatoes

2-3 cups potatoes
1 cup sliced onion
ham slices(enough to make 1 layer)
salt
pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 can cream of celery soup
1 cup water

Layer bottom of crock with thinly sliced potatoes (as you would do for scalloped potatoes) Then add ham slices to cover potatoes. Add fresh or frozen onion. Salt & pepper to taste. Add cheddar cheese. Then in a separate pan melt together 2 cans Cream of Celery soup and 1 cup water. After they have become smooth add to crock. Make sure you distribute evenly! Cover and cook on low 4 hours! Enjoy!

Hawaiian Pork Chops

6 lean boneless pork chops
1 tbsp prepared mustard
2 tbsp white wine vinegar
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tap pepper
1-8 oz can pineapple chunks in juice
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
1 papaya, peeled, seeded ans sliced
Place chops in crockpot. In small bowl, combine mustard, vinegar, hoisin sauce, salt and pepper. Drain juice from pineapple chunks and add juice to mustard mixture, reserve pineapple chunks. Pour sauce over chops in crockpot. Cover and cook on Low 5-6 hours or until meat is tender. Remove chops and keep warm. Turn to High. Dissolve cornstarch in water in small bowl, stir. cornstarch mixture into juices in crockpot. Cover and cook on High 10-15 minutes . Stir in pineapple chunks and papaya. Serve chops with sauce and add coconut and macadamia nuts if desired.

Kraut 'n Apples

1 lb sauerkraut
1lb Polish sausage
3 tart cooking apples, thickly sliced
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp caraway seeds
3/4 cup apple juice or cider

Rinse sauerkraut and squeeze dry. Put half the sauerkraut in crockpot. Cut sausage in 2" lengths. Place on top of sauerkraut. Then layer apples, brown sugar, salt, pepper and caraway seeds and rest of sauerkraut on top. Add apple juice. Do not stir. Cover and cook on Hig for 3- 3 1/2 hours or on Low for 6-7 hours or until apples are tender. Stir before serving.

Barbecued Spareribs

5 lbs spareribs, cut into 2-rib portions
1 cup ketchup
3 drops hot pepper sauce
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp celery seeds
1 small onion, chopped

Preheat oven to 350?Place ribs on rack in shallow pan and bake 20 minutes, turn and brown other side for 15 minutes. Place ribs in crockpot. Combine ketchup, pepper sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, salt, celery seeds and onion in small bowl. Pour over ribs. Turn to evenly coat. Cover and cook on Low about 6-7 hours or until ribs are tender.

Ribs and Sauerkraut

3 lbs spareribs
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
16 oz container sauerkraut
1 apple, cored and diced
1 tbsp sugar

Preheat oven to 350?Cut spareribs into seving sized pieces. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place ribs on baking sheet and into oven. Brown in oven 20 minutes, turn and cook other side for 15 minutes. Drain fat. Put sauerkraut in crockpot. top with apple and sprinkle sugar over top of apple. Put ribs on top. Cover and cook on Low 5-6 hours or until tender.
